Algorithm Diary is an ongoing series of daily digital collages created from personalized advertisements encountered on Instagram. Since December 16, 2021, the artist has collected and reconstructed these fleeting images, designed to be scrolled past and forgotten, into a single composition each day.

Generated through algorithmic personalization, these advertisements reflect assumptions about users’ interests, habits, and identities while subtly shaping perception and choice. By appropriating and reorganizing these images, the artist transforms passive exposure into an active visual practice.

Moving between digital collection and intentional composition, Algorithm Diary reclaims agency within algorithmically curated systems and invites viewers to reflect on how everyday algorithmic images influence the way we see and live.
